From January 4th-7th, in Atlanta, Georgia Prime Genetics Inc attended the annual Beltwide Cotton Conference. This conference is attended by cotton breeders, cotton seed producers and marketers, cotton chemical and equipment manufacturers and cotton consultancy experts from the USA and all around the world.
On going “Presentations” and “Group Discussions” allow attendees to gather all the latest information on all aspects of cotton growing as well as an insight into the new lines of germplasm being introduced to the market place from numerous and diverse breeding programmes.
Adequate, “free time” is also available for attendees to meet with breeders, marketers and consultants as necessary, on a one on one basis, to discuss and negotiate directly for further improved germplasm or other crop benefits as deemed desirable.
Prime Genetics Inc is pleased to be able to confirm that during this meeting, it was able to acquired two new potential sources of US based germplasm, with a view to commencing testing in 2012. |
